In this issue: Free Gifts, New Tutorials and everything Silk Ribbon Embroidery
♫♪♫♫♪♫ Greetings from a warm and sunny Cape Town. I hope you are well and enjoying the change of seasons. Here, the leaves are turning a gorgeous shade of red and brown and everywhere I walk, the crunching sound on the fallen leaves reminds me that winter will be soon be here. The squirrels are eagerly collecting treats for their winter pantry, the butterflies, the bees are enjoying the autumn pollen and the guinea fowl chicks are almost teenagers now. For those of you experiencing spring, I am sure that you are thrilled to see all the new growth around you.

This time of the year is always a busy one for creative people. We all seem to find that extra burst of energy for new designs and many of you have written to say how much you like all the new series that I launched this year. I have some gorgeous new embroidered pieces to show you this month and these will surely inspire you to start on a new project.

The new embroideries above and below have been turned into substantial kits which contain the printed panel, ready to embroider, all the ribbons, wools, threads and other wonderful fibres... each kit is carefully prepared for you to create your own masterpiece with minimum fuss and bother!

♫♪♫♫♪♫ and the good news: there will be LOTS of ribbon and thread left over as we pack skeins of thread and packets of ribbon in the kit. This way you can be sure that if you want to make a few practice stitches, or need to re-do a section, there will be enough to do so. I find that if just enough ribbons and threads are added in a kit, it is tricky to make any changes or to add more colour in line with your personal taste. With the generous supplies in our kits, you can use the surplus to replenish your stock, to complete future projects, or to share with a friend.

So do take this opportunity to stock up for your sewing basket - it's always a good idea to plan ahead - and nothing could be easier than having everything that you need at your fingertips when inspiration strikes and... all the new kits qualify for a BONUS HAMPER :-))
