Elisa Franzin from Italy and Sheila Beswick from California
Today, I have something beautiful to show you by two talented embroiderers.
The first is Elisa Franzin from Italy.

Elisa Franzin’s teacher, Manuela Scarpin, teaches at the well-known Tombolo E Disegni, Viale Martiri della Liberta 10, Grado (Gorizia) 34073, Italia and she says that Elisa is also a very talented lace maker who has been attending classes for about six years now.

And this is the class sample that Sheila will teach. She used the idea of the Rose Gaujard from my Roses book and stitched it onto 18 Mono Count Canvas.

I just finished stitching the class sample. I changed the flower a bit to accommodate the canvas ground. Here is the information for the class:

Cost: $65.00 (non-refundable)
Pre-work is required.
Level: Intermediate
Student will be given kit and pre-work instruction at sign up. Pre-work consists of stitching a background and stem with two leafs. Student is expected to complete the pre-work before class. Each student will be able to pick the color of rose during class. Usual stitching supplies plus 1 glue stick, and 1 bottle of fray check.
