This is a really enjoyable project and you will learn how to make all kinds of wildflowers on a felted background. Flowers such as cosmos, buttercups, a daffodil,  lavender, forget-me-nots,  a spider’s web, Corn poppies,  Michaelmas and Marguerite daisies, Wild dagga, ground covers, a little Sunbird and some butterflies…

Felted-cushion

  The kit includes two pieces of luscious hand-felted wool, each measuring 60 x 60 cm or 23.6 x 23.6" for the front and the back of the cushion. Comes in a natural cream colour with mohair yarn detail. You can decide on the size and shape of your cushion when you stitch it together. Also included is a soft cotton backing fabric, 24 packets of silk ribbon (2, 4, 7 and 13mm), seed and bugle beads,  13 skeins of thread, woolly fibres for the sunbird, silk fibres, a block of felt for the stumpwork sunbird, the pattern plus 5 types of needles…   Click on the image to enlarge     A-Felted-cushion     Ideal for the beginner but the more advanced embroiderer will have fun too!
