Making a looped knot Step 1 Thread the ribbon onto a needle. To make a looped knot at the end of the ribbon: fold the long end of the ribbon once or twice and pierce it with the threaded needle....

Step 2 ....gently pull the needle through the fold .....

.
Step 3 .... pull the fold along the length of the threaded ribbon....

.
Step 4 ... and a looped knot will form at the long end.
