Look! A gorgeous, quick and easy project to inspire you this week!
Delaram Mowatt from Houston Texas made this lovely piece, don't you just love it?
I saw her work on my Instagram feed (please follow me on Instagram if you can — there is so much happening there now) and asked her to send me some pictures and info about her piece.

Dear Di,
Hope you and your loved ones have already started a very happy year 2021. Thanks for all your kind support and all your positive words about my work.
I am constantly moving back and forth between painting and silk ribbon embroidery and also fabric doll making so I can say I am jack of all trades, master of none!
For this tiny silk ribbon embroidery (diameter: about 11 cm), I was inspired by a vase of tulip flowers, so I drew it on the cotton fabric, then I thought to add a bit of pink-purple background by brush and fabric paint, after It was fixed by iron, I started the embroidery. When it was done, I cleaned up the back of the work, painted the hoop white and added a white cotton string for hanging. So, it is basically framed in its own hoop.
Thanks again for all your lovely words and kindness to me
With the warmest regards,
Delaram
Thank you dear Delaram for your inspiration!
Stay safe everyone, and have a good weekend.
Love
Di
