A Fabulous Teacher In Kloof, KZN - Annamaria Kelly


 
A shoutout to all embroidery fans living in Durban and the surrounding areas of Kloof. Would you like to attend fun and friendly classes near you?
The super-talented Annamaria Kelly has moved from Johannesburg to Kloof! She has set up her studio, all ready to teach you classes in silk ribbon embroidery, stumpwork and needle painting amongst other kinds of needlecrafts.
 

I'll show you some of Annamaria and her student's in Johannesburg's work.
 
Annamaria made this stunning piece for the competition a few years ago and it was featured in Inspirations Magazine! Titled Country Garden, it's a beauty!
She also made the ceramic pots for this piece.

I have a lovely studio at my home in Kloof.  I have a large range of embroidery pictures, which include Di van Niekerk, Colleen Goy, white work pictures, quilts to embroider, crewel and the list goes on.  I have a large range of threads and ribbons and different mediums for three-dimensional embroidery.


My studio looks out onto a beautiful garden and I also have a large table and chairs under a canopy on the patio where we can hold classes too.


I teach anyone who is willing to learn from beginners to the more advanced and I have taught many people how to do ribbon embroidery who would otherwise only do simpler embroidery.


I love teaching and making people excited about what they are doing.
