This lovely piece is by the super-talented Joyce Solichin from Jakarta, Indonesia. Don’t you love this beautiful scene? Stunning! I wrote to her to ask about her journey in silk ribbon embroidery.

Joyce replied:
“I came to know about ribbon embroidery through YouTube and I fell in love with it. I tried a few simple designs, and I truly enjoyed them. While searching for silk embroidery kits on Pinterest, I stumbled upon your designs at Dicraft. I was mesmerised looking at all your designs. They are so beautiful, and I bought many of your embroidery panels with complete threads and ribbons. Now, I am glad that I bought all those panels since some of them are not available anymore. Making your embroidery, it’s pure enjoyment. The process to complete each section gave so much satisfaction since the colour combinations of your ribbons are so pretty they make the designs come alive!”
Thank you, Joyce, for sharing your talent with all of us!
Enjoy your weekend!
